Location of this hotel is brilliant. Hotel has a contemporary feel and is kept clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. We reported a few things to reception and maid (hand soap dispenser wasn't working and our keycard didn't work for a short while) but both issues were dealt with promptly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travellers.

Hotel is super spacious, beautiful christmas lights outside the building. Staff are super friendly - we booked 2 rooms & they upgraded one of them so we could be together. Will be back again next year :)

Only stayed for a night but good 3*star hotel. Would happily stay there again. 10 mins walk from the railway station and close to the restaurants and beach.

Excellent hotel with excellent hosts who couldn't do enough for you. Room was cleaned daily with top ups of water, biscuits and toiletries. Breakfast was good with a great selection of pastries and eggs made to order. Ideally situated, 15 min walk from the train station and 7 min walk to the leaning tower. Excellent B & B

Valentina and Pietro were both amazing. Property location was perfect. Clean, different and facilities were excellent. Loved the fact that Valentina kept in touch all through our stay and sent helpful guides and map to us. Also lovely pictures of Lucca. We will return.

Amazing hotel , spectacular views ,food was delicious and the staff were exceptional Book a room with breakfast as probably works out cheaper especially if you don't have a car to get to Barga You can take a shuttle from hotel but only at certain times so this can be limiting.. Taxi service available but expensive if only two of you paying, car hire is very reasonable and you can make the most of the area as lots of places to visit. Excellent hotel within 20 minute flat walk of Pisa centre. Good sized room at the rear of the building which was very quiet, ample sized bathroom with shower cubicle. La Lanterna is a modern 3* hotel located on the outskirts of Castelnuovo, about a 15 min walk from the town centre. It has a good public restaurant, a separate breakfast room and a swimming pool. Rooms are spacious and comfortable…my bathroom had a whirlpool bath. The staff were friendly and the food good.
