"The room was ok. Not great. But electrical outlet in washroom did not work. The room and floor had a musty smell. Location to universal amazing! 15 minute walk. Shuttle available as well"

"The room is ok, the pool is nice but everything else needs renovation. The flooring throughout the hallways and elevators are missing creating a hazard. Not worth the value asking. There are plenty of other resorts in the area. Will not stay here again."

"We decided to book this for a last minute trip to Universal. It was easy to check in and the in and out parking was convenient. Having the bus shuttles and early entrance to the park were added perks. It was so convenient. The in house restaurant and Starbucks were all what we needed. The food in this casual kitchen was great. Though not one of Universal’s high end hotel, I love this place. Definitely coming back here. Surfside being a smaller hotel than Dockside was just right for my family."

"One of my main concerns was the parking situation. There doesn’t seem to be enough parking available directly in front of the building, and unfortunately there’s no overnight valet option. When the lot fills up, guests are directed to park at a nearby abandoned music store, which felt a bit uncomfortable and not very secure. I did visit during spring break week, so I understand that may have contributed to the parking being full, but it’s still something to be aware of."
