Fantastic hotel and 2 bed suite was amazing. We wish we’d booked longer. The happy hour was exactly what we needed, too! The free sake tasting and craft beer was so nice. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Mimaru has a great set up and we’ll definitely use it again when we return to Japan.

Great aparthotel conveniently located within walking distance of Kyoto Station and a large shopping mall. The staff were incredibly helpful and assisted us with our luggage delivery. All the amenities and equipment you could need were either provided in the room or available at reception. The washing machine and the bathroom drying system were particularly useful during the hot Japanese summer. The dryer was surprisingly efficient and very quiet, making it easy to do laundry overnight. The...

Great apartment

Amazingly clean and great facilities!

All very nice and helpful staff, in particular Jungmin who helped us with the lighage delivery service (which was also great!).

Excellent hotel in central location, the staff were great and very helpful in looking after us during our stay. I thoroughly recommend this hotel and would happily stay there again.

Stayed in the Pokémon room - fantastic experience for our 11 year old (and us). Very spacious room with dining table, sofa and bunk beds. Not a huge amount within walking distance of the hotel (although Teamlabs is a couple of minutes away), but as the name suggests it’s extremely convenient for the station and transport links. Convenient laundry room but no vending machines on site - 7-eleven is just around the corner.

Great hotel, clean and modern. Great for families with interconnecting room and plenty of space. Great location as well, 10min walk from subway and central location with plenty to do around.

Fantastic spacious room, great location, exceptional staff vey friendly

Did not use either of the facilities

This is the best hotel I stayed in on my trip to Japan if you are staying in Kyoto book this hotel

Amazing hotel. Location perfect. Room very spacious. Has a wardrobe and kitchenette, including a washing machine. Really handy. Bed was comfy. The best sleep we had in Japan. We'd stay here again and recommend.

So glad I found this place. Absolutely perfect location. Everything so accessible. Extremely comfortable with everything I needed. They even include hair straighteners! Super clean and technology enabled with numeric keypad so no key card to worry about. I had room on 4th floor with river view. Room is very well equipped and spacious with desk, lounge area etc. Very comfortable beds and room. Pillows a little hard for my personal taste and minimal space around beds but this didn’t detract from...

Check in was easy, we upgraded our rooms and were shown other rooms we could change to. Very clean all looks new. Free coffees, teas, soft drinks and ice lollies all day. Breakfast available too but had a selection of cereal, mixed fruit, croissants, bread and a pancake maker. Also had scrambled eggs, sausages. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Thanks for a lovely stay.

The Koko Hotel residence is located in a relatively convenient place and offer generous sized rooms. We opted for a room with bunks for our family of three and it worked perfectly. The staff were great with plenty of things available to borrow for free, such as irons and hairs dryers, alongside a table full of free items that you may have forgotten. Located a 10-15 minute walk from the riverside area for restaurants and shops, I’d recommend it.

We had a large room with an area we could either sit in on or put a futon on. This
