Gorgeous characterful hotel - the perfect blend of period features and modern comfort! We booked a standard double but must have been upgraded because we had an additional living room. The hotel is beautiful and has won an award for the most beautiful staircase in Hamburg. The breakfast was excellent and the service faultless. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again if I return to Hamburg.

First impressions were excellent, with a concierge waiting as the taxi pulled up We arrived very early & expected a bag drop. Unexpectedly our room was ready. Check in was swift. Beautiful building inside and out. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was a comfort room and it was very big. The bed was super comfy and a fantastic delicious breakfast.
