"Liked the change of lay out for breakfast but did miss my muesli opption"

"Nice hotel, decent pool and sauna experience, if a little dated. Some of the check-in staff acts as if they're the most important person around,. They didn't have full booking details (Expedia) and I had to find my original emails to prove that I had paid for breakfast. Felt as if they're unimpressed with my Expedia "deal" and almost frowned upon. The rest of the staff - no issues, professional and polite."

"The consistency of room service standard was not there. One day my room was cleaned well, i had 4 bottles of water i had 4 biscuits for each of us staying in the room. The next day i had no bottles of water, no biscuits, the two extra beds were not made. I was very disappointed upon entering our room after a long day out. "

"Excellent hotel with very good rooms, quiet location on the edge of a large park. Plenty of parking and off beaten track so secure in that respect. Nice restaurant with varied menu choices; breakfast excellent. Staff welcoming and very helpful. I would definitely use this again in preference to others closer to or in the town but really need car to access."

"This is a pub with some rooms, and they are decidedly average. The sort of place you would put your east European tradesmen in while doing a job for you. My room was on the ground floor. This meant the window looked onto the outdoor terrace. No net curtains meant I had to keep the curtain drawn for any privacy, so it was dark all day. Unfortunately the curtains were not black out so it was light from about 6.30am! Also there was a room above mine and the floor was so creaky and noisy so late nights and early mornings were very noisy. The bed was fine, but the bathroom was tatty, the carpet so stained you felt you had to keep your shoes in, and the tv was about the size of an average laptop screen. Also be aware that breakfast starts at 10am and they finish serving food in the evenings very early (I never made it back in time to eat do I cannot comment on the bar or food). The outside terrace in early April was pretty empty so noise from there was not a problem for me. However, the room was super cheap, so the accommodation was reasonable for the price. One just wishes that they would make a bit more effort!"
