"We only stayed one night before catching a flight home. The hotel only had "bamboo" rooms available which looked neat and interesting but functionally I didn't really like. The bathroom was not enclosed nor was the window because of the bamboo decor. There was a lot of street noise which made it difficult to sleep. The A/C wasn't too strong. Breakfast was supposed to start at 6:30 but wasn't actually ready until almost 7:00am and we had to leave to the airport at 7:00. Also, we had asked...

"The Truc Bach area is a great place to stay in Hanoi if you want some peace and don’t need to be in the heart of the tourist zone. Many restaurants, coffee shops and cocktail bars are within walking distance and it is a pleasure to walk along the lake.
