"We were given a pet room and the deoridizer they use to mask the dog or cat smell was overpowering. There was also a cover on the sofa which encourages the animals to sleep there. The did move us but why would we be given that room to start? I suspect our second room was used for animals too."

"Staff was great but this hotel was either dirty or just worn down and scuzzy. Our curtains were burnt with ash stains and there was a dirty Kleenex on the floor when we got our room. "

"Refrigerator leaked on the floor. Under the fridge was a cockroach sticky trap with dead cockroaches. At 4:00 in the morning there were dogs barking in the next room. Toilet wouldn’t fill back up to flush for many minutes. STAY AWAY "

"The room was absolutely disgusting, nothing like the pictures. Was supposed to have a suite with a king size bed and a pull out couch. The bed was as hard as a board, and the pull out couch/bed look like they just fished it out of a dumpster. You couldn’t even sleep on it because of how dirty it was. When I went to complain all that was said was “well no one normally sleeps in it and was just giving extra blankets to cover it up. Half of the lights and plugs in the room didn’t work. Highly highly disappointed and hoping to get some of the money reimbursed."

"First time staying at a Tru so wasn't sure what to expect. For the price we paid the property was adequate. Breakfast was a decent continental breakfast with make your own pancake machine. A fresh yogurt dispensing machine using a Wisconsin creamery was excellent-even had ingredients for add-ins such as mini chocolate chips! Staff was ready to help and clean the table after guests finished eating. "
