Xandari Pearl is a great Hotel for Marari Beach..it has pathway that goes straight to the beach. The room I had was a mini villa with a small garden and hammock. The only thing to be aware is that the toilet and shower is enclosed but open to the outdoors so may take getting used to. Also no TV in the room but wifi was fast and stable. A fantastic spot from which to explore the Kerala backwaters. The hotel organised a half-day Sikkara boat tour and for the remainder of our (too short) stay we relaxed by the pool and dined on the beach. Recommended!

I had an excellent massage and we liked the novelty of canoeing down to the beach. The front of house staff were excellent however the restaurant was less so.

The rooms are well appointed and clean. Breakfast buffet and other dining menu was quite good. Staff was courteous and helpful. location is a bit away from main attractions however if you are looking to get away from the noise and chaos, this is a great place to relax and unwind.

The property is GOOD Well maintained Vintage property … But it’s neither beach front nor beach view rooms… And it doesn’t have private beach….

This hotel really is dreamy, the sat are incredibly helpful and the location is ideal.. we personally weren’t sure about staying overnight on a houseboat so this was the perfect conclusion.. a lovely hotel right on the backwaters.. the restaurant could be updated but still the food was lovely and the staff were really nice.. we both had massages which realistically weren’t the best we ever had as were in a very strange damp smelling room but still, it was an experience.. the room was amazing....

We stayed for 13 nights in a detached villa which was next to the beach. From the time we arrived to our depature the service at Abad Turtle beach was 6*. The grounds are beautiful & it very peaceful the only sound coming from the birds & the sea! The butterfly garden is lovely & there is an abundance of wildlife such as Indian palm squirrels, various birds & fruit bats which you will see from 5pm. We absolutely loved our stay! The property is beautiful, luxurious and perfectly located by Vembanad Lake. Everything is of excellent quality, the rooms are very comfortable, and we particularly loved the swimming pool, the lovely pond with lotus flowers and the terrace, where we could practise yoga. The team were incredibly kind, attentive and accommodating. Even though we arrived late without prior notice, they kindly arranged a light dinner for us. Lots of free activities to keep you busy, amazing setting and unique rooms. Great food and drinks as well, we loved it wish we had have stayed longer.

Good property with good location and serenity

We didn’t know quite what to expect from a “Homestay” what a great experience. The property is a short walk from the beach We had a lovely spacious room. Air conditioning & Wi Fi Marco Polo and his team were so helpful and couldn’t do enough to make our stay so relaxing. The home cooked food was excellent and they even popped out to get anything we asked for they didn’t have. On site is a beautiful Spa , we had great massages from Mishima and Suni. V relaxing.
