Lovely old colonial style property on the top of a hill with sweeping views of the surrounding area. Very comfortable and clean rooms, nice pool area, large well-kept grounds with tame peacocks everywhere. The one restaurant serves great food with very attentive and friendly staff. They did fail to meet me at the airport, despite written conformation, but they don't lose a star as everything else about the hotel is so delightful. Note that it is on a hill with lots of steps, but I'm 70 and had...

This is a very clean hotel with awesome breakfast, next to almost everything in Madurai. The service was awesome, despite our special request of boiling hot water and a bucket of cold clean RO (reverse osmosis) water everyday to give bath to our two year old. (There was one day where they delayed our request, but after my complaint they were efficient the rest of my three day stay.)
