"My stay at Hotel Raíces de Mar completely met my expectations for a boutique hotel right in the Plazuela Machada. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was perfect! The small soaking pool was refreshing and I enjoyed exploring el Centro from the doorstep."

"Was looking for a nice culture look place to stay in el centro. This place was amazing. Love the architecture, the greenery, the views and the pool. 100 percent recommended. Would definitely come back."
"Staff was rude Our rooms had roaches The staff at the dinning are Palapa Breakfast and Lunch rude if they would assume if you leave a tip they will treat you right but if they assume you would not give a tip they were soo rude the only staff that was great was Palapa Dinner they were awesome "

"I felt its safe but dining options are a hit less in the surrounding area. Most if them are like street side food, but not many fancy ones in a walkable area. Else, all is well."
