"Everything was great - no issues. Car parking was also well integrated but it appeared to be only 24hr blocks. Might be handy if you arrive early to be able to get 26 or 30 if exploring the next day. Room was large and airy, nicely decorated and bathroom was clean and well appointed with everything you need. Only thing I couldn't locate was info about mini bar and if the water in the fridge was complimentary or chargeable. I'd happily stay again."

"The George is in a very central place in Cheltenham, it’s close to all the bus's needed to got to the Cotswolds and beyond. The staff are extremely helpful and give good advice regarding the area. We had the continental breakfast and there was plenty of healthy food and drinks available. We also had some cooked to order breakfasts and these were exceptionally good. On the downside some of the carpets on the stairs need renewing. Overall I’d give the George 9/10."

"It was clean and had feather pillows which I like. It was also centrally located. However, it was up 3 flights of stairs, so not ideal for anyone with a physical disability. It was also next to a noisy road and traffic which woke me up in the morning."

"We had a lovely stay at No.131 in Cheltenham. The hotel is beautifully presented, stylish and very clean, with a great location that makes it easy to explore Cheltenham on foot. The staff were particularly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, and the service was excellent. Our room was comfortable and well maintained, and the whole hotel has a relaxed but elegant atmosphere. A very enjoyable stay overall and somewhere we would happily recommend and return to."

"At first I was a bit grumpy about getting a basement room, but it was an excellent choice as it was nice and cool down there. I availed myself of the not one, but TWO fans to keep me cool in the heat. Everything worked, everything was clean, the bed was comfy. The self service breakfast was pretty much what I would eat at home. The guesthouse was ideally situated for our weekend activities in the town. I was lucky and found a great parking spot very close to the guesthouse (and an excellent coffee shop just round the corner!). I would certainly stay here again. I am fine with steps, but some people might struggle with the steps up to the door and to the different levels of the building"

"A lovely stay. Room clean and tidy. Breakfast very good. No air conditioning and rooms were stuffy - one to avoid in the summer! Very pet friendly and good location."

"First time staying in the Citrus Hotel Cheltenham. The family room we had was a surprise in that it was so huge. It even had self catering facilities in a cupboard including a sink, microwave and kitchen utensils! The room was dated and looked like we could have been in the 80’s, but it was very clean and quiet. The location is fantastic for walking into central Cheltenham, and the small car park beneath the hotel was an added bonus at £10 per night. We would definitely stay in the hotel again if we were to spend a day or two in Cheltenham."
