"Had a lovely balcony room overlooking Grassmarket square with views of the castle. Hotel was clean and staff was helpful and kind, We arrived early and were able to get our rooms early. Rooms were very nice. Being next to grassmarket was a little louder than expected but manageable. Restaurant food was delicious and service was great."

"The only downside was there was not a coffee station for guests at the hotel. You have to wait until the doors open for breakfast. There is a coffee shop nearby, but it would be more convenient for guests if coffee was provided 24/7. The new renovated rooms are beautiful and extremely comfortable .. however, the walls are paper thin."

"The Hotel was clean, and seemed like it was a brand new establishment. Our room was very quiet and the room temperature control kept our room extremely comfortable. I loved the beautiful location and the on site restaurant. The hotel provided 24/7 coffee via very nice coffee brewers, which offered also brewed latte’s, etc. All of this was complimentary. I can highly recommend Yotel."

"Really friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is in a prime location, within walking distance of most of the city centre attractions. Breakfast was really nice, we had a freshly cooked option as well as the usual buffet, all good quality. The hotel and room were clean and well appointed. The only negatives I can give would be that the room was perhaps a little small and a few fittings in the bathroom were getting a bit tired. Overall a great place to stay in Edinburgh City Centre, I wouldn’t hesitate to use it again."
