"Studio style house with kitchen, bedroom, and living room. Rooftop swimming pool is cool with a gym, too. Very clean. The breakfast is fantastic and provided by the hotel next by, where you go from the reception very easily. Loved the stay and especially the breakfast and the sky pool"

If you are looking to walk and explore the George Town area you will be disappointed as it’s a bit far and would need to take a taxi. Overall decent place if your visiting but not very convenient location to the action "

"We stayed at the golden sands by shangri-la in penang 5th to 8th of july. We had a beach /pool facing room which i would strongly recommend. Rooms are spacious and clean, buffet breakfast had a wide variety of food, plenty of pool activities and areas of entertainment for kids,I would highly recommend this hotel to any type of visitor "
