The room was very clean and the desk staff professional and welcoming. The room itself was very dated, there were minimal amenities- no shampoo, no hair dryer, the TV didn’t work and there were no extra blankets.

It’s an old building, close to Sylvan Lake so called beach, but it’s normal in Alberta to have such obsolete from last century hotels. Go to Canmore, Banff that direction, it’s more like Switzerland…. Too expensive for what it is, Charged at the hotel some 3,10$ tourist tax - ridiculous !!!
