Nice location in Banff with stunning Mountain views. Unfortunately, a major highway is right under the hotel so it is very, very noisy on the Mountain View side. Couldn’t sit outside to enjoy the weather and views due to the noise. Rooms were clean but dated. Bistro was very good.
Great location, only 2 mins drive from Banff downtown. Views from our room were amazing. The Juniper Bistro had wonderful breakfast. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
The hotel was super nice and clean, the staff were remarkable, and amenities were super helpful for our time there.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Although there is a nice mountain view from the back side of the building, there is also a very noisy interstate and a train track running along side of the hotel. Trucks and trains running all night made it difficult to sleep.
It was an older hotel without modern touches like usb plug ins. The room itself was not dirty but a bit rundown due to age.
The happy hour food at the bistro was adequate but nothing special and we were definitely forgotten about. Several other tables were served drinks and food before our drinks were even served. We only ordered a Charcuterie board so it’s not like we were waiting on a big meal.
They do have electric car charging but parking lot is in disrepair so be careful while parking. Also there is not an elevator so be prepared for stairs.
We did not use the hot tub because it was always occupied during our stay but the people in it seemed to be enjoying themselves. The hotel offers bikes to use at no charge for an hour and people seemed to be enjoying that as well.
All in all it wasn’t a bad experience but I think pricey for what you get. I’d say in any other town it’s comparable to a holiday inn.
the photos of the attached deck and view do not give justice to what you’ll see in real life. You won’t want to close the curtains for your entire stay.
Beautiful room with amazing views. Highly rated restaurant in the hotel. Extremely helpful staff, advised us with hikes in Banff National Park. Wonderful hot tub.
The only negative is the trans Canada highway #1 down below the hotel so it’s really noisy on the balcony.
It was a cheaper option in Banff. With it being right over the highway, we had to get their shuttle into town every time and sometimes it wasn’t available and had to wait. The room was dark and dingy. The bathroom was not very large and wasn’t the cleanest.
the room is quiet and clean. staffs are friendly and helpful. the restaurant of the hotel is quite popular and have to book a table quite early in advance.
The hotel is not in the hubbub of tourist-filled Banff. It's close enough to take advantage of all town amenities, but far enough away to be a respite. Such gorgeous rooms with magnificent views! Such a great restaurant! And the staff was so helpful in booking excursions, recommending all kinds of things, particular to what you want. This is the best hotel experience of our trip so far. Just cannot recommend highly enough.
We loved the Juniper Hotel. Front desk was friendly, cheerful and helpful in arranging complimentary rides to and from town. Mountain View’s from our room were excellent and we ate the best breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Highly recommended for an excellent stay.
Helpful staff, and very comfortable stay. We enjoyed our stay.

Room and property was maintained.
Couple things that would have been nice: either microwave in the rooms or shared lounge area. Wished there was more sound proofing in the walls. We were in the first floor and could hear TV the next door neighbor. We could hear upstairs neighbors walking and kids running and stomping. This was not pleasant and probably deterred us from returning.
Hudson helped me book a few local adventures and also told we where to see wildlife +, the room he reserved for me had an outstanding view and met my wife’s physical needs (no stairs) very well . Food at the Bistro was great..location of hotel is remote (in the forest), yet very close to town and has shuttle for guests.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
The mountain views were beautiful and the highlight of our stay. However, the sheets and shower curtain were not clean, and the bedroom quality did not quite match the price. The staff responded quickly and cleaned everything once we notified them, which we appreciated. Overall, the experience was good, but I'm not sure it was worth the cost.
Lovely room, great staff. Restaurant for dinner was gorgeous but not so much for breakfast.
There was a block that was a bedside table which really wasn’t helpful and the air conditioning was noisy.
Good coffee facilities and cosy bedding.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The atmosphere was relaxing and cozy, making it the perfect place to unwind. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained.
One of the highlights was the hot tub, which was absolutely perfect after a day of exploring. The mountain view was breathtaking and made the experience even more special. Waking up to such beautiful scenery was unforgettable. They also have free drop off and pick up to downtown Banff which makes it easier to roam around.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and everything exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with stunning mountain views.
