Highly recommend this above all others if staying in Long Melford. The two superb rooms are five star. We had a wonderful stay and a great breakfast.

Very welcoming hosts and very accomodating to matching my business schedule.

This is the 2nd time I visited The regent in the last 2 months. Amazingly kind staff who went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs. They were very proactive and thoughtful! The property is recently refurbished and very clean. It also offers great view to the adjacent Parker’s piece park. Breakfast is light and simple but more than enough to fuel one’s day. The regent will most likely be our no. 1 Preference for accommodation in Cambridge going forward.

A very nice hotel in a good location. Stayed for business but thought the bar and restaurant were particularly nice. Would stay again

The room was very clean, very comfortable, with quality fittings. Comfortable bed, quality bedlinen, soft towels, helpful host - highly recommended.

The room was clean and had drinks in fridge and biscoff biscuits alongside tea, coffee etc Beds were comfortable and had good nights rest. Shower was good and water hot. A lovely nights sleep. There was traffic noise but didn’t affect our sleep and we slept soundly.I would stay again.

I stayed in one of the Loft rooms which was very clean, comfortable and quite. Food was good with excellent service.

Great breakfast and a clean rooms but the stand out feature of the hotel for me was it's central location. It is just so convenient to the main sights, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. We would stay here again.

Excellent rooms with plenty of space and very comfortable. All the staff were very helpful

Very satisfactory in all areas- and no, since I am giving my time, why should I say more ?

A very enjoyable 2 night stay. Pleasant locaton, very helpful and polite staff and very enjoyable food. Only comment is that the roomwas really too small to have a king sized bed. Recomended.

Friendly staff - Fast check in - No time wasting. Very happy! Good conditions , clean .
