"Its a great location within walking distance to all the core places including parliament, byward, across for CF rideau which made it helpful. Byward has lots of options for eating a nice lunch or dinner gathering. You also have more budget friendly tims, mcdonalds and subway as well. The best part of doubletree would have to be the breakfast buffet!!! So many options so would highly recommend adding this on just to get your day started well for your travels. The rooms are on the smaller side. The temperature of rooms was good between hot and cold for weather changes in May. Staff are helpful in knowing where to go for tourist attractions. Its an easy area for ubers as well as we were traveling with seniors and mobility concerns. The pitfall is that parking is a public shared lot which is fine and cost friendly however, slightly cramped and difficult to navigate so helpful to arrive before check in and secure a good spot and don't recommend using in and out privileges in this area."

"AC was not working when we stayed so room was really hot. Staff said it was an issue with the whole hotel and only gave us 25% discount to rectify the issue. Upon closer look at the invoice, the 25% discount was only applied for one out of the two nights we stayed. We didnt move to a different hotel because we were jetlagged and it was our first time in Canada. We wont be using this hotel ever again."

"Nous sommes arrivés et il n'y avait plus de stationnement sur place. En ligne, nous ne pouvions pas réserver une place de stationnement. Le personnel de l'hôtel est resté très froid face à nos doléances. Nous n'avons reçu aucune excuse, ça avait l'air d'être normal de nous dire de nous débrouiller à trouver un autre stationnement. Il faut croire que la courtoisie et le bon service ne font pas partis de leur compétence. On s'est fait proposer un stationnement à aire ouverte qui n'avait pas l'air bien sécuritaire. Par contre, la chambre était bien propre et bien entretenue. Je tiens à dire que je ne retournerai pas dans cet hôtel qui n'a pas l'air de vouloir accueillir les clients de manière cordial. J'ai observé plusieurs clients à la réception qui étaient désemparés. Même s'il y a des places limitées, je crois qu'il serait apprécié d'avoir l'option de réserver une place de stationnement à l'avance. Surtout, une formation sur le service à la clientèle pour l'ensemble de personnel ne serait pas de trop."
