"First ever visit to Scotland. Blessed with amazing weather. Staff were friendly, talkative and helpful. The food was great. Port patrrick was calm, a great place to just relax, turn off and rest. Lovely cliff top walks. Would deffinatley return and stay at the harbour house hotel."

"The hotel was recommended to me by family and I emailed them the 2nd day of my stay to thank them. The hotel was excellent, a great location and outstanding view over Portpatrick. The meals were very good. The hotel was very clean and obviously well maintained with all amenities. The staff were outstanding, nothing was too much trouble and they were very helpful and polite. I will be going g back and will recommend this hotel to friends"

"Rooms: The rooms are big but you can hear everything, from people in other rooms to them in hallways to foot steps above you in their rooms. Barely slept due to all the noise. Restaurant: good food but severely understaffed. Had our whole meal and not one drink was “ready” or brought over. I felt so bad for the staff. Views: these were amazing and so worth a visit but next time I’d just stay elsewhere. Overall: I wouldn’t stay there again but I would visit the area and have a drink on their patio."

"We stayed here while attending a wedding at the nearby Trump Turnberry hotel. The hotel is a short 15-minute drive from Turnberry and right on the coast road with fantastic views. The hotel has an ample car park and spacious rooms. We found the rooms perfect for our 1-night stay. Included in the room rate are various cold breakfast items like cereals, croissaints, ham in the fridge, fruit yougarts, milk for making tea/coffee. I would not hesitate to recommend this superb hotel."
