"Everything you need to know about a place you can tell from the reception you receive when you arrive. I was greeted by my key in an envelope and a number to call if there was an emergency. The hotel is described as welcoming - not true as the only person I met was at breakfast. The lights were off in the reception rooms when I explored after check in, so I didn’t feel comfortable sitting in there. Breakfast was adequate - toast, cereal, yogurt, etc. Room was big (I was in the Pink Room). The calking in the shower needs replacing as it’s mouldy. "
