"I've stayed at Clearwater several times. In Mackinaw City it is located around the bend away from big crowds. It's quiet, extremely clean, on the beach with smores at nite, each balcony faces the Mackinaw Bridge for a beautiful lite nite view. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. For a quiet night to relax and enjoy the area, it's perfect."

"We chose this property because of the high ratings. It was awesome! The highlight of our trip was sipping Hot Cider (with tequila) by the fire. Wonderful view. The grounds were immaculate and decorated nicely for fall. It was our first trip to Mackinac Island and I’m afraid a very high bar has been set. We stayed in the Straights suite in the mansion. Only complaint there is I think that suite is over the kitchen. You can tell when they turn on the fans for the day. Seem to be in the room under the bed. We are early risers and late to bed, so really not an issue for us. Others might consider that before booking that room. I highly recommend for"
