Went to Colonial Christmas at the fort, the lighted Christmas parade and tree lighting, and the hot cocoa crawl on this weekend stay. All worth my time and would do again.

We love Mackinac! That being said, it is dead in the off season. Limited shopping and dining. If you are up for those things, you will be out of luck.

Just be aware there are limited options for dining during the off season and most shops are closed as well.

Tourist destination. Lots of amenities within walking distance. Mackinac Island is the main attraction, but I would only recommend for families with older children. It's very busy in the summer.

Definitely went off season. Would have been helpful knowing that if you google a business it would've been closed.
"The staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms and hallways were very clean. The breakfast had a wide variety of fantastic options that were constantly restocked. "
"It is a dated place but many hotels in the area are. It was a good place to sleep and grab a shower. We didn’t spend much time in the room so for the price it can’t be beat! "
"Great little older motel. Well maintained and very clean.
Great location. Parking is quite tight ( a little tough for a big truck). Staff was wonderful. Plan on returning some day."
