Park Hyatt Zanzibar

Stone Town

10/10 Excellent

It was the first hotel we stayed in Zanzibar for sightseeing purpose in world heritage Stone town. We stayed for two nights in the first week of Dec and enjoyed the stay. Excellent location for the purpose. We picked sea view room. The taste of interior was excellent. Park Hyatt style with nice color fabric and sturdy furniture. Old African safari romantic style with Arabic Zanzibari style mixture. Balcony was small but nice to have. All public spaces are also well decorated with excellent...

Turaco Spice Tree, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Stone Town

10/10 Excellent

After a long 21hr journey we got to the hotel a few hours before check in time. Seeing that we were tired the hotel staff offered complimentary breakfast while they prepared our room. The hotel was very clean, modern and cosy. The staff were all very helpful, from housekeeping to catering; even the management: Philippe, Mr Peter and Jose, were accessible daily at most hours. We were travelling with our 16 month daughter who had the flu (from London) and were worried about distinguishing...

Zanzi Resort

Kama

10/10 Excellent

Wonderful relaxing resort set in beautiful gardens. Very welcoming friendly staff. Excellent food with much variety. Once a week there is a fantastic barbecue served along with a local band playing for everyone to learn some local dances. The bungalows are very most comfortable and very private. There is a wonderful jetty at the beach where you can sit and watch the sunset. Private dining is also available at the jetty or beach. Lovely hotel for couples especially honeymooners.

Treetop by Eight Continents, Zanzibar

Unguja Ukuu

10/10 Excellent

Treetop by Eight Continents Zanzibar exceeded all our expectations. It is an excellent choice for solo travellers, couples and families, and in my opinion, this resort is seriously underrated. From the moment we stepped onto the hotel premises, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Everyone was friendly, kind and attentive throughout our stay. A special thank you to Ally, who helped my wife organise a beautiful surprise dinner for us by the beach. It was an unforgettable experience and...
