"We stayed here leading up to our wedding and it was a 10/10 stay. They gave us complimentary sparkling wine, flowers, and a hand illustrated congratulations card! Hotel feels newly renovated but still has classic countryside boutique flare. Family room was very spacious for us. Wonderful, super friendly staff! Emberwood was an excellent restaurant directly tied into the hotel. Location is very central but things are still quiet which is great. Will surely stay again if we are ever in town. Thank you Alex and Carly for making it memorable!"

"We arrived after a long very hot train journey. The reception was prompt and helpful. The room was spacious clean and above all chilled. A beautiful bathroom. Lovely towels. Comfy bed. Great facilities coffee and tea Fridge too. Beautiful easy ground floor room. Breakfast plentiful and great choices. My only downer was the machine coffee. Not the best. Location fabulous. Easy walk to Abbey and Roman Baths. Excellent cafes and restaurants. Would come again."

"The hotel was beautiful, clean and well equipped. It was the perfect hotel with great food, close to everything while being peaceful at the same time. I am super picky and our room was gorgeous and spacious. I loved that it was within walking distance to the whole city and close to the train station, Parade Park, the Abbey, Roman Bath, and Pump Room/Assembly Hall. The air conditioning was wonderful too during this rare heat wave. We will be back!"
