I really wish i could give this hotel 4 stars, but sadly we did not have a pleasant experience here. We had a room with a king and sofa bed. When it came time for bed, i opened up the sofa bed to get it made, only to find a note from housekeeping that said you needed to get linens from the front desk. Not really something I wanted to do when we were tired and already in our PJ's.
But as I opened the bed further, I noticed all these food crumbs falling out from the mattress. Then I saw dog hair and (no joke!) a used Chapstick in the mattress. Clearly the bed had not been cleaned since last use.
I called the front desk to let them know. The front desk assistant and the bartender came up to look (there was no manager or housekeeping staff). I asked to be moved into a room with 2 queens because at that point neither my daughter or I were willing to sleep on any sofa bed in the hotel. I was told they couldn't do that because i had booked the room on Expedia and their policy didn't allow them to switch room types.
In the morning, the manager stopped by the room to apologize. I told him what I was told, and explained that even though i booked through Expedia, once a customer steps inside the hotel, they are now the HOTEL'S customer, not Expedia's. Switching us to a room with 2 queens should not have mattered. He agreed and said he didn't know why the assistant told us that.
In the end, I got a card for a comped room for a future stay and a $20 discount. Unlikely to return.
