Spencer Hotel and Conference Centre

Spencer Hotel and Conference Centre

8/10 Good
"Room 1143, first floor, corner unit, king The Spencer Hotel and Conference Centre is affiliated with the Western University. The building is beautiful, the architecture like one would expect on a university campus. The grounds are very nice. There are a lot of mature trees and the gardens are well cared for. The hotel can be accessed by parking at the back of the main building. There are a number of signs to guide you to the hotel front entrance. There are a few EV chargers available for a charge near the front of the main building. When you first come to the reception area, it does look more like a school than a hotel. However, it was always attended when we came by, everyone was very helpful with our questions. We stayed on a first floor room. This was not a large room, but it had all we needed for the short time we were staying. There was a desk to work from, a large tv, a Keurig coffee machine, a small fridge, ironing, a nice bathroom, and a comfy king size bed. The duvet was very nice but it was too heavy and very hot for this time of year. There is a nice restaurant within the building. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is a bar with lots tv’s and a pool table. The front desk area is not spacious, no seating to hang around at. You can, however, use their workstations and seating areas on the 3rd and 4th floors. There, the space is open and comfortable."

"you get what you pay for as they say. The hotel is perfectly located to Victoria Park and the main street where festivals and lots of action tends to happen. The hotel itself has an excellent gym, very spacious rooms and hallways. Great staff and the restaurant below is pretty good"
