Kim and John are amazing hosts and offered us a cup of tea, fruit and nibbles on arrival. The house is beautiful with great attention to detail, especially with motifs, eg inlaid maple leaf outline on bottom wooden (handmade) stair/wooden handrail and furniture. Lots of lovely pictures too. The balcony in our well equipped room was a lovely touch to sit outside and watch the river.

After a not so nice stay at a different hotel, this one was a breath of fresh air! Fabulous customer service and great location next to the redline train.

Plenty of parking but the room was difficult to keep at a constant temperature either hot or too cold. A little noisy in the morning with people moving around but for the price you couldn’t ask for anything better

Used it as a base while sightseeing. Isn't the most appealing, looks a bit dated and drab but rooms are well equipped and clean. The people above me were moving things around so noisy and could here the toilet flush, extractor fan and water drain when they used the shower (slightly better having my bathroom door closed) but noise doesn't wake me so didn't disturb my night. Breakfast offered cereal, thought it a very nice touch that numerous milk and alternatives were on offer almond milk etc,...
