"This was a basic vintage hotel. It was comfortable and fine, but nothing to write home about. For instance, the rooms don’t have microwaves or little fridges. But the bathtub was really deep and awesome. It’s the kind you wanna get on the open ocean with a paddle and head your way to Hawaii."

"I can’t wait to visit the Blue Lake Casino again! The staff up front were all so friendly and made check in a breeze. The room was amazing - clean, comfortable, roomy, and the AC worked great. The casino floor was a lot of fun and I was impressed - they had live music going late, food options available until 1am, and a good selection of games to choose from. I had an issue with one machine and the staff member who helped me was so kind - they went above and beyond and their attitude really made me feel like I was in the right place. The outdoor pool area is clean and quiet. Even if you’re just traveling through for a night, Blue Lake Casino book the room. They were voted #1 on the Redwood Coast for a reason! "

"The breakfast was pretty good, food appeared fresh & there was a variety of items. Was able to park close to the room. Not a fan of the kiosk when I checked in, felt very impersonal. "

"It would be helpful if we knew about the stairs to get to front desk and it is better to park in back to check in since I am handicapped. Room was very small and door hits toilet so doesn’t open all the way. Nice to have the refrigerator. Maids were very nice."

"Beds were soft and comfortable. Staff members were helpful and welcoming. There are a lot of homeless people in the whole city… and around the hotel. I didn’t see any hotels without homeless near by. The hotel property and parking is gated and secured. "
