"Property itself was fine. Clean, friendly, but a bit outdated around the hotel. Rooms were great! The neighborhood was sketchy and a bit scary. Lots of homeless and run down businesses ."

"We made the right choice with this hotel rooms were clean. Pool was a big plus for the kids. They had a lot of fun splashing around in it. Parking lot was secure and well lit. We will be staying here again next time we adventure to Eureka and we recommend the hotel to our friends."

"I would highly recommend Blue Lakes! Every staff member I met was friendly, very helpful and seemed to enjoy working there. The room was beautiful- new renovations great shower with shampoo, conditioner, body gel, hair dryer etc. More than I needed for my quick one night stay. People seemed to be enjoying the pool, but I didn’t have time to jump in! I will definitely stay there again. They also have EV charging close by- a big plus!"
