We go to Notre Dame football games in the Fall and normally stay in Elkhart. Since this was a Spring game we decided to stay near campus which was very convenient. We love Notre Dame and South Bend. It's easy to get around and the people are nice.

South Bend is a reliable midway point when driving between Minnesota and Massachusetts. It is far enough beyond Chicago to be affordable.

I grew up here, but moved away several years ago. It's amazing to see all of the new businesses in the area.
"Very good. Need Wingate sign at the hotel. It said “The Clover”. I figured it out. Very competent person at the desk. He handled multiple issues at once. You need grab bars in the bathroom. Bath tub floor slippery. Grab bars inside the shower too. I will definitely stay there again. "
