"Loved Grand Hotel de La Ville. Such beautiful rooms with inlaid wood, marble bathrooms, lovely painted tile floors. Breakfast and staff excellent. We had an end-view partial sea view, which I would skip in the future. Mostly a view of a neighboring apartment building, but everything else is fantastic. 5 minute walk to train station, 10 minute walk to shopping downtown."

"Beautiful boutique hotel- large rooms, beautiful decor and very up to date plumbing. Classy and elegant. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, go out of their way to be helpful. The desk staff assisted us with directions and ideas, as well as assisting us with reservations. We had a drink in the beautiful bar in the evenings before we went out- outstanding quality and service. Marco the bartender was excellent. The breakfast was included in our rate and was wonderful- huge spread that included a wide variety of cakes and homemade marmalade in addition to the usual offerings. Could not be a more convenient location. "

"This property had very comfy beds & great full breakfast! Beautiful view of Mt Vesuvius right on the Amalfi Coast! Will stay there again Sorrento is a beautiful place with lots to offer. Boats to all other towns on the Amalfi coast. Capri, Positano, Amalfi&Atrani, very accessible from Sorrento. You will need a good 7-9 days there to see things. The best seafood we have ever had and reasonable too. This property is walking distance to all the great restaurants and shops. "
