"So disappointing. We booked this as a mid-way break on our 16 day driving tour; 1 night in a resort with spa facilities. The pool, hot tub, saunas, and whirlpool; all closed. The bar was closed! One of 2 restaurants on site was open. One of the couples got the robe and slippers, the other couple did not. No apology, no money off. We were told we could use a nearby hotel pool; it was snowing! "We have just returned from a week at Hotel D’Olonne (or should I say Chateau D’Olonne). We were excited before arrival, and we were not disappointed.

"There is no need to look any further! A lovely old hotel with a great location - a little removed from the hustle and bustle of town but very close! A wonderful, accommodating staff, beautiful grounds, nice bar, great restaurant and a waiting vehicle to take you to wherever you would like - in a big valley like Chamonix that is very valuable. We stayed at two other locations and now that we know, we will never stay anywhere else! Enjoy"

"The location and amenities at this hotel were great! We used the pool, sauna, and steam room every day after skiing. The room was clean and it was easy to get a bus to the ski resorts from the location. The one downside was that the room was small which made it hard with our ski equipment, even with the ski locker. Despite this we would stay again!"
