"Beautiful property. Wonderful breakfast. Very, very helpful front desk staff. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay when visiting the castles of Sintra. We would highly recommend this B&B!"

"The staff was very accommodating and reminded us of old bed and breakfast places from years ago. They even had our breakfast ready early so we could get away early. If we come to Portugal again, we’d come back. Also, great restaurant recommendations."

A lovely B&B in a great area and only a few minutes walk from the station (although you wouldn’t know it and you certainly wouldn’t be disturbed by it) - the owner and staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfasts were amazing!

We loved our stay at Artsy Cascais. The staff were special, always helpful and nothing too much trouble. The rooms were so comfortable, showers fabulous; breakfast lovely- especially the Granola and Home
made Yoghurt with Fresh fruit. Eggs done just how we asked.
I would highly recommend this hotel.
My only OFI is the restaurant doesn’t open in the evening. I understand why having spoken to the manager but hope on our next visit in a couple of year

A long weekend in Cascais with my better half was wonderful. The hotel is new, very modern, and the room we had was excellent. Love the wet room bathroom, large, 2 sinks, and a great bath. Our balcony with the twin sofa and table was very nice, with the sun in the afternoon, and had a really good view of the landscaping. Whilst I played 18 holes on the fabulous golf course (I was put with some really friendly chaps, we had a great game), my partner enjoyed a hot stone massage for 90 minutes, and...

This is the simply the nicest place we've ever stayed on a foreign holiday. We stayed on top floor apartment with the lovely balcony and everything in the apartment was designed to perfection and was immaculate. The location is incredible. The church square just up the hill is a beautiful setting for an early evening drink and there are lots of great shops and lovely bakeries nearby. Rui was a wonderful host. Do not hesitate in booking this - you will not be disappointed. We will definitely be...

The villa was clean, bed comfortable, could have moved in and lived there.
Staff were really helpful and communication was excellent.
The garden was very tranquil and perfect to just chill or stroke Jenny (the cat), or watch the fish
Breakfast was plentiful and fresh.
Would totally recommend storyteller to other people.

This is a stunning magical hotel the most amazing thing was the complimentary drinks on arrival and the experience seeing the barrels of wine and the beautiful ancient room we felt like we went back into a time machine into the 1920s. The music at breakfast was superb & really comfortable spotlessly clean rooms and lovely breakfast. Thank you to the staff for being so friendly and helpful.

The room was well equipped and very clean and tidy. Breakfast was included in the price and was really nice continental style meal. In addition, we had a small bottle of wine included, which we enjoyed before bed!!

Friendly and welcoming staff. Comfortable hotel with good facilities. Well presented golf course on undulating land. Would use a buggy when weather is hot but cooler temperatures carrying is good excercise. Breakfast and golf club food were excellent but out of season the main restaurants were not open. Good outside and indoor pools plus relaxation suite. Will return.

From arriving and being checked in by an exceptionally helpful Nicole (helped us buy tickets for that evening's Benfica match). To leaving early in the morning after 5 very comfortable nights with a take away breakfast prepared for us to take with us.
Great location, close to excellent transport links which enabled us to get to Sintra and Cascais by train and walk quickly to many of Lisbon’s main tourist spots.
Excellent restaurant recommendations meant we had two superb fish based evening...

My partner and I stayed here for 5 nights recently. I haven't been back to Sintra for nearly 30 years and really wanted somewhere outside of Sintra's historic centre from which to explore the region again. This hotel was perfect. It hasn't been open for long and whilst that is apparent, it didn't detract from our stay. The location in Colares was perfect. Nestled on the main road to the coast, it is surrounded by lush forest at the foot of the hills on the banks of a beautifully wild river...
