"Not worth it. Way over priced! We stayed one night. Staff are very nice. But the place is of a by gone era. It’s old but not in a charming way. Showers in the onsen are cold and you have to wait for many minutes in order for hot water to come out. The rooms and elevators are old. the outdoor hotspring is on the top floor with no facilities (you have to go downstairs first and shower) and no real view to speak of. The location is on the main drag which is nice. But it should be 1/2 the...

"I loved the onsite Onsen and style of traditional Japanese hotel rooms. The staff was very nice and helpful! Amenities were great! Beautiful hotel room view! The only downside is that the hotel is located on the outskirts of Nagano, so plan ahead as it’s not easy to reach via walking. Shuttle buses are readily available however to help get around."

"We stayed in this ryokan for a family trip. The city is unknown to non-Japanese people, but the people at the ryokan were so kind and helpful. Sometimes it was not easy to communicate as their English was not the best, but they tried their best to help. The meals were awesome, and the bath places were great as well. "我々は松本方面から高速で麻績（おみ）まで行き、山道を走ってホテルへ向かった。街灯がないくねくね道を長いこと走ることになりとても大変だった。ホテルのスタッフさんから教えてもらい、翌日は国道19号を通るルートで帰宅した。ホテルは清潔で、大浴場も心地よく、食堂でいただく朝食はどことなく学生時代の合宿を思わせる雰囲気で心がなごむ。夜が明けると雪をまとった山脈を遠くに臨める絶景を楽しめる立地にあることがわかり、明るいうちに19号方面から到着し、ここでゆっくりと時間を過ごす旅程がおすすめ。"

"Hotel’s onsen as shown in the website pictures are for members only. Only basic dormitory style rooms were offered with public bath which had water pressure problem that 2 cannot wash at the same time. The bath uses regular, non-hot spring water which only open from 800-2000. No hot water in the dormitory bathrooms. Hotel is well equipped with gym and game room however for members only. Wish more clarification on the booking sites for this. "
