I was able to reduce the expense for a night to c. $55 by using Expedia credits equal to $30, but if I didn’t have it, I would recommend to stay another one. Far from the center of Matsumoto Nothing was around the property Nothing would be provided to kids, such as amenities, welcoming tea and snacks, basically. "Such a cool place! We loved it here. It’s a bit of a ride to/from the city center, but worth it, especially if you’re looking for some quality “down time”. Do beware of bugs outside! Tons of orb weavers around (which are not aggressive), and other cool ones like grasshoppers, praying mantis, etc. The staff was extremely helpful in arranging taxis for us, because the GO app will not function as expected that far from town."

Only basic dormitory style rooms were offered with public bath which had water pressure problem that 2 cannot wash at the same time. The bath uses regular, non-hot spring water which only open from 800-2000. No hot water in the dormitory bathrooms. Hotel is well equipped with gym and game room however for members only. Wish more clarification on the booking sites for this. "
