Search Capsule Hotels in Shikanoshima Island

Just outside exit 2-3 of Nakasa-Kawabata station. The area is full of restaurants and if you walk a little bit along the river you will be able to eat at a yatai. When you enter the hotel, you actually need to go where it says “Lively”. Before staying I didn’t understand why the cost was so high for a pod hotel. Well, now I know. Lovely capsule-style hotel within walking distance of Tenjin-minami station; shared facilities were clean and well-maintained, the semi-private cabins were good quality and decent size. Only downside was the inability to turn off or cover the air vent into the cabin, which meant an almost unbearably warm night's rest for one night of my stay.
