"Amazing place with beautiful location. The only downside is that they market that you have the castle view but there are trees and you don’t see anything . "

"We loved the large rooms, friendly staff, food and drink options and the convenience to all the restaurants, sight seeing and transportation in Edinburgh. We couldn't have picked a better location. I would definitely stay at Apex Waterloo again. "
"This was an amazing hotel. Staff was great- Tyra at the front desk helped me with an external tour app issue and we had a wonderful tour. The view out our window was absolutely unbelievable. Very very close to Victoria St, the Royal Mile and of course the castle. Would definitely recommend."
"Fantastic location walkable to all the major sites. Staff is amazing as is everybody in Scotland. Room had a king size bed and fantastic bedding, but the room was a bit small. We stayed on the ninth floor one below the top and could hear when people flushed the toilet above us with the water running through the pipes. So I would request a room on the top floor. Eat their restaurant, and that two was phenomenal and reasonably priced."
"I really enjoyed my stay, it was almost a new building with full facilities. It is a quietest place I’ve ever stayed . The only downside I’ve noticed was it might not be a good choice for people with disabilities or elderly, since to get to our room using stairs was inevitable. They might have other rooms to accommodate people with disabilities, so make sure you check with them in advance if you have issue with climbing the stairs. "
"Excellent location close to everything, including plenty of cafes, restaurants and small shops. Quiet room, with a couple of small glitches. I found the pillows too hard, and this would be a tough bathroom for two people to share. There wasn’t anywhere to hang a hand towel and not enough shelf space for two. But I’d go back. "
