"Heather who greated me was warm and welcoming and took my bags, the chap who booked me in was equally nice and helpful. This was the quietest hotel I have ever stayed in! I had some of my best night sleeps here. Central for town and train station 10 min easy walk. Riom very clean amd tidy, with nice smelling body wash."

"Hotel is a disappointment considering its reputation. The rooms were cold, old and badly lit, with poor quality mattresses where the springs could be felt, and quilts so thin our kids were sleeping in jumpers and bathrobes. "

"The property was not at all to the standard expected. The main issues were the non-working safes, TWO of which didn’t work, the second requiring us to hang around for hours and miss the start of lunch, and the inaccessibility of the room when clearly there were junior suites on the first floor above Reception which we could have used. My father struggled to go up and down the long corridors and the several flights of stairs to the room. No help was offered with bags. We had notified early of preference for an accessible room"
