"Everything from check in to check out was excellent. Room was clean, if a bit small but suited what we needed for 2 nights. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Place is a maze but lots of quaint areas to sit and relax with loads of local books around. We didn't use the leisure facilities but they looked lovely. "

"Very clean and modern hotel, public areas were in excellent deco, our room would have benefited from updating and was a little tied, although clean and comfortable. The Pool and Spa area was very good and food in the evening and breakfast was very tasty, however only scrambled egg on offer, although we did not ask about alternatives. Would have expected a little more breakfast variety for £16 per head. Overall staff were very friendly, helpful and provided and brilliant service, would definitely stay again. "
