"Here’s a polished version of your review:
The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, but it has a perfect location close to everything and offers beautiful views. The concierge and restaurant staff during breakfast were spectacular and treated us like royalty. We truly loved our stay.
My only suggestion is that the hotel should inform guests in advance that it is under construction, as some areas can be noisy during the day. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience, and we would gladly return."

"Good location but expensive for the quality of the property and poor quality breakfast.
I had got half way through my breakfast and went to get a tea and my food, juice and cutlery had all been cleared away in the few minutes it took for me to come back with my tea."
"Hotel was in a superb location - just opposite the train station and so within walking distance of all attractions. Hotel is old, but the bed was comfortable and there was a bath/shower. The breakfast was brilliant and had everything you needed. Would definitely recommend."
"What a gorgeous hotel in a fabulous location, right on the Royal Mile. Lovely room, quiet despite the central position of the hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel ! Will stay again when I return to Edinburgh"
"Best air conditioning we had on our trip. The location is perfect. The rooftop terrace is very nice and we enjoyed the great views each night. Would highly recommend this hotel. The restaurant service was very bad however. I know they like to let people linger and enjoy but that normally comes after the meal not before you order."
