"It was simply a perfect 10 on every account. It was an amazing stay in a splendid hotel. The staff from the reception to the maintenance staff were so friendly and welcoming. The young lady supervising the spa area was marvellous and so accommodating. The room with a view of the lakes was very pleasant and inviting. Very comfortable in every aspect. The amenities were great for spending quality time in the swimming pool, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi. Never overcrowded. Pleasing atmosphere. The bar was well maintained and stocked with various alcoholic and soft beverages. The carte menu was great and enough entries to satisfy one’s tastes. The food which we ordered was cooked to our taste and liking and delicious too. All the staff were so friendly and polite which made our short stay so enjoyable. Thanks to you all for a perfect stay."

"The hotel was lovely in a beautiful place and great views all round. We were upgraded which was great and the room was clean, great quality, comfortable and spacious. All the staff were very lovely and professional. The pool and sauna area was nice but I would say not to book this hotel for that as it was quite basic but a nice extra. We decided not to eat in either of the restaurants as they were both pretty expensive. One negative is there isn't really anything nearby in the way of shops or restaurants so you would have to drive for these. The breakfast was great though and we appreciated that the hot food was not a buffet but cooked fresh for each guest. Overall we had a lovely time and would love to come back again, we only stayed for one night and that didn't feel long enough!!"

"This hotel was in the heart of Bowness and Windermere. The staff on the whole were fantastic and friendly. The room we had was very spacious and comfortable with a brilliant view of the lake. Breakfast was as expected for £15 "

"Our room was very clean and spacious, housekeeping only came in when requested. Staff were friendly but the restaurant staff were not particularly friendly. Cooked breakfast was very good but the continental breakfast could be better for example the fruit salad was very green and would have been better if there had been some yogurt on the table. The bar was not staffed all the time so we had to find someone to get a drink on a couple of occasions. Lindeth Howe is an excellent hotel in a beautiful quiet location. We have no hesitation in recommending it to our friends."

"Would definitely recommend, and aim to stay again next year. Lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings - far enough away from the busy Lake District hotspots to make it a peaceful stay, yet close enough to everywhere you might want to visit! Beautiful garden and pond, with friendly ducks. Clean throughout with spacious room and bathroom, and a comfortable bed. Great breakfasts with lots of choice. Only little niggle - it would be an added bonus to be able to have a cappuccino or latte choice at breakfast :)"
