I absolutely loved staying here. It’s right next to the track and you see all the horses. I also loved the contactless check in. It was super fast and easy! The included parking was incredible. The shower was amazing too. 10/10 loved it! Thanks!!!!

Après avoir lu d’autres commentaires sur Expedia, j’étais nerveuse de ne pas réussir à accéder à ma chambre. J’étais incapable de me connecter à leur application Hive. J’ai tenté de leur écrire à plusieurs reprises dans les 5 jours précédant mon voyage, je n’ai eu AUCUNE réponse. À mon arrivée, il n’y avait aucun personnel sur place, pas de réception malgré que Expedia disait que la réception serait ouverte de 11AM à 7PM. Je n’avais reçu aucune instruction pour l’accès à la chambre malgré que l’heure d’arrivée était passée. J’ai fini par trouver un employé de l’entretien ménager très gentil qui a pu m’aider, mais la communication était difficile car il ne parlait qu’espagnol. En tous les cas, une chance que cet employé a été assez charitable pour m’aider car j’aurais sûrement fini par dormir dans la voiture. La chambre était ok sans plus, mais il y avait une grosse tache brune texturée extrêmement douteuse sur le rideau de douche blanc - honnêtement je crois qu’il s’agissait de matière fécale. Je ne retournerai pas à cet hôtel.

Pictures on Expedia are not true or accurate. Room was dark and dingy. Had to sit sideways on the toilet. No soap in shower dispenser. Terrible mattress. We booked 2 nights but only stayed 1. Booked another hotel for the 2nd night.

My family and I made a last-minute booking for one night in Saratoga at the Brentwood hotel. The booking process was seamless and easy. We booked a deluxe bunkbed that had two full over full bunkbeds built into the wall with an additional queen bed for accommodation. The room was very clean, the aesthetic and interior design was modern with classic touches to the preservation of antiquity and equestrian theme. My only negative feedback was that there were no on-site staff or communication from management to follow up, and we were awoken by tree trimming outside our room at 7 AM. Other than that, we had a wonderful night.

Unable to check in at 5:30pm made reservations days ahead. Door locked. You could see through the window. It was some rundown Tampa office/bar dirty nobody there. They have a self check and sign up which I assume would normally be used for late night. There was no one on the property when you called. Get someone at a call center in another country that cannot understand what you’re saying and there’s a translator in the background so it’s like talking to two people at the same time. They have terrible reviews everywhere.

This place has gone downhill. I stayed there 4 years ago and it was great. The property has been neglected, things are all generally threadbare. The cute bar on site was not open and from the looks of it has not been for a while. You can’t even get a bucket of ice for your room. The fire pit was unusable. The room was clean enough but pretty dingey and smelled like people had been smoking inside. The phone number takes you to a call center in India, I had to call 2x to get the door code sent to me ahead. What used to be a sweet and thoughtfully renovated place with nice minimal luxuries is returning to the rundown trashy motel it probably started out as.

Terrible experience

We were left stranded on the day of a wedding because although this establishment is contactless and doesn’t have a “front desk” nothing was communicated to us giving instructions to our reserved room. We were left to change into wedding attire in a local Starbucks bathroom because no one associated with this establishment would answer a call, email or text.

Location was fantastic! Easy walk to race course, can watch warm ups across the street. Bed was pretty comfortable. Rooms are very small, which is disclosed in listing. Restaurant across the street has good food and live entertainment in their outdoor tent which would not be good for people who want to go to bed early, stops at 11:00 PM. A/C is quite noisy so did wake us up a lot. Did enjoy the horses coming up the street from stables early morning.

Sometimes you get a pleasant surprise when you check into a hotel in a place that is new to you. This little hotel was fantastic! We had a nice stay and dinner at the restaurant across the street. But this place is so close to the horse track, you can watch the horses work out.

I love this hotel - the beds are super comfy and although the room is very basic, and a tad small - it has almost everything a person needs for an overnight. It is an INCREDIBLE value - my biggest complaint is that the hotel bar is closed indefinitely - it is such a sweet space, and offered incredible craft cocktails prior to the pandemic. Still a special place and a really good tavern for dinner and drinks just up the street from Thurs - Sun. Anyways, you do need a car here. Super close to Nat'l Racing Hall of Fame and Saratoga Racetrack. Despite there being no one on site and the bar being closed, this place will always be special

Unmanned motel

This is an unmanned motel, and it’s not possible to call for support. Everything was closed when we arrived at 7pm including the bar and reception. Had trouble accessing our rooms and so had other guests, no one is picking up the phone, took us an hour to get access, not a good experience.

Excellent place, except the bar across the street. On previous reviews, people complained of loud AC… thankful for the loud AC to drown out the louder music coming from across the street. We would have gone there to eat since so convenient but we could not even hear ourselves talk outside. Which was a bummer since you could see the horses warming up. Which is the reason for our stay. Otherwise great , clean, cute place !!!

I was a little disappointed with my stay at the Brentwood. I travel often for work so I was really excited to stay outside of a Hilton or chain property and it was my first time in Saratoga Springs! The location was amazing, right next to the race track only a 5 minute drive to downtown. However the conditions were a little disappointing. The property looked overrun, the restaurant/bar was not open, and there was a decent amount of dust in the rooms. It seemed like the property just needs a little extra TLC. The owners were pretty responsive though, I had gotten the wrong check in code and they were quick to respond back. However after I checked out I never received a receipt and when I reached out they sent me the receipt for a different stay. Overall, I’m just disappointed, I really wanted to love my stay but I will not be staying at the Brentwood again.
