"I had an excellent stay and would absolutely stay here again! Even though the hotel was under construction during my visit, it did not take away from the overall experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed. They made me feel welcomed from check-in to check-out. My room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was a great way to start the day. I really appreciated how hard the staff worked to ensure guests still had a pleasant experience despite the renovations. I look forward to coming back once the construction is complete!"

Spark by Hilton Sarasota Siesta Key Gateway

"Positives: Central location to restaurants. Easy access to Siest Key (just 7 minutes). I enjoyed having a continental breakfast available daily. The pool was very clean and seemed tobe well maintained. Having food available on premises was great! Front desk staff was in constant communication and took care of our special requests of a quiet room, extra pollows. Pets allowed (although I did not bring mine on this trip). Overall a good price range. Not so much: The air conditioner was way too loud. It was constantly turing on and off. The finishes in the room (wall by the ironing board seemed to be unfinished) I am sure is not Hilton standard. The bed was lumpy. The vending and ice machine on the 4th floor had been removed. The shower water temperature would change and get very hot in the middle of showering. The room did not have enough storage (no drawers and not enough hangers-only 6)"

"I have stayed here before for several weeks during a visit to the area, and I enjoyed the location and especially the pool and Tiki bar! I once again booked a couple weeks here this year for another visit. Staff was helpful and friendly the room was about the same. this is a older Florida hotel so expect that when u book. The price is reasonable compared to what's in the area . it was clean and comfortable however!! I did feel like the Tiki bar was not as fun this time seems to have changed staff and it shows!! They seemed somewhat aggressive when it came to bill and tip time, Honestly the vibe in the Tiki bar seemed different and i did not visit it much this time! Kinda disappointing. I did notice that they had a lot less people in the Tiki than the last time I was here so maybe im not the only one to notice the change . I hope they can work on improving that! I am not sure if they are run by the hotel or not, it may be independent of the hotel."
