Siesta Key Beach was wonderful, Ringling museums and the Ringling Mansion were interesting. Lots of great consignment shops. Recommend Spearfish grill (try Monkfish) and Walt's for great seafood and fair pricing. Parasailing in the Gulf is great!

Sarasota is a beautiful area in southwest Florida. Lido Key has a lot going for it, and St. Armands Circle is a lot of fun, great shopping and wonderful restaurants. We spent one day at the Mote Aquarium and Marine Laboratories, which is great!

Downtown Sarasota, its older neighborhoods, and Longboat and Siesta Keys deliver an old school West Florida experience! It's an inviting, comfortable, marked contrast to the sprawling mediocrity that characterizes areas east of Downtown!

We were in Lido and it is quieter. We went to Lynche's Bar for drinks and that was fun. Go to Crab and Finn for seafood and Venezia for pizza. We went to McCurdy's Comedy Club in Sarasota one night and that was fabulous. Lots to do!

Second time to Sarasota and have enjoyed visiting each time. I would go here every year. The area is safe, walkable to great restaurants and the drive to the beaches is easy as long as you get there before 10am.

Beautiful beaches and good selection of bars and restaurants. Considering they have suffered hurricanes Helene and Milton, the city have got things back up and running in a very short time.

We have been coming to Sarasota for over a decade. It's a beautiful spot close to the airport and Lido beach is not over crowded like a lot of other beaches.

Fun place with lots to do. St. Armand's Circle was great with all their shops and restaurants. Beaches were beautiful!
"All the staff was very friendly and professional, breakfast was great, hotel vibes is great, pool area always a great time in the evenings. Would stay here again when I come back"
"Lido Beach Resort was exactly what we needed for our anniversary celebration as well as our “Babymoon”! The resort was easy to navigate and our room was spacious and comfortable. The entire staff members (both on property and the beach) were friendly and knowledgeable in helping us in any way possible. We really appreciated the transportation to St. Armand’s Circle. Overall, we felt so relaxed and can’t wait to come back in the future!"
"Loved this property. Staff was nice. Property was spacious and clean. Beaches restaurants and activities all within 20 minute drive. And a few places within walking distance as well. Pool was clean and comfortable. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was very good. "
"Very nice hotel. Staff was very friendly. Great breakfast that changed daily. Only disappointment was that the pool was shared with the sister hotel next door and you had to go across the parking lot to get to it. Not the most convenient and not very private at all. "
"Newer, clean hotel with great staffing. Breakfast has good selection of items. Good coffee 24/7. Desk staff friendly and worked with me on room location for 7/4 so it'd be quieter. "
