Beautiful property in the middle of a huge lake. Breathtaking views from every corner. Villa room was very spacious. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Great service. Food above average. My 3 year old was in love with the semi private pool, which could have been cleaner. It's a great property for families with small kids but not stroller friendly. A must visit for all ages.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel Recently refurbished to a high standard. Staff attentive and very helpful. Particularly enjoyed the musicians in the evenings and also at breakfast. Ate in the restaurant on several occasions and food was very good. The manager Mr Deepak Devpura made a point of asking each day, how my stay was going. He and his team made my stay so enjoyable. Give this place a try, i dont think you will regret it

I have been traveling for over 40 years and have stayed at thousands of hotels and I would rank this property as 1 of a kind and not to be missed if you are in Udipur - - - it is best by far the best in the area. The rooms with a lake/city view are well worth the extra cost and are an experience that you will always remember. DON'T MISS A LIFE EXPERIENCE ON THIS PROPERTY. My husband and I recently spent 3 nights here. We booked a Premier Suite with garden sit-out and it was the best choice we could have made. From the moment one enters Taj Aravalli, it is clear that this property is one of a kind. The resort is spread over 27 acres and they have golf carts to help take guests around. Gem of a place, absolute must for any period history experience seekers. Beautifully appointed and maintained heritage property on the water front with unparalleled night view of the City Palacae and Taj palace island on the lake. Great food (quality, safety, hygiene, flavour and service) at in-house Ambrai restaurant. Highly recommend.

This is a hidden gem in a quaint location in the Old town of Udaipur. The manager Jassu was extremely friendly and helpful, arranging airport transfers, suggesting places to visit and eat, etc. The location is excellent, being close to the City Palace, Jagdish temple and Pichola lake. The views from the rooms are fantastic, especially if you book the Maharaja suite with its own large terrace. The amenities are modern, clean and well maintained, and we would happily return here.

The property was in an excellent location. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay. We ate at both in-house restaurants and the food was fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

Everything was perfect

Little gem hidden in the old Udaipur close to Jagadish temple and the traditional Hattie Pole shopping area with its narrow lane but colourful and full of life. Checkout Lalit Shree Arts (mob. 9785056192) who makes hand painted art with intricate design.
