"I gave this property 4/5 stars for the registration process. Totally unprofessional and no empathy. We communicated prior to the arrival to confirm stay, and set up private transport. During this time, reservations were looked up and no indication that there was a “issue” with payment! Upon our arrival, we were asked for the card we paid with, which was a virtual card and a new card had been issued. The hotel basically were prepared to turn us away if we did not repay for the reservation and wait for a full return.. despite the payment clearing on both our ends, they wanted to run a $1 charge on the original card. We offered other cards for incidentals and were denied. That was a very frustrating process. Then another person in our party had to come daily to confirm transfer back to the airport which was a hassle! Aside from the registration process, the food was good at the buffet, we did not visit the specialty restaurants. Entertainment was great. Bar staff amazing! Wait staff amazing. Grounds were clean. Rooms were cleaned twice a day and no issues. I would say the common thing is there’s no blankets so either bring one or request, we traveled with our own. We ran the AC because it was humid but it did get cold overnight. The beach was nice. I would say get up early if you like good seats at pool or beach as people reserve their spots around 8am. You get 1 pool towel card per person so bring a beach towel if you need extra. Overall was a good stay, besides registration."
