"Even though I paid more for a beachside junior suite upon arrival to the property I was informed I would be issued a garden view and beachside does not mean you will be able to see the water just that the room faces that direction.
I also requested my two rooms be connecting or close to each other instead they booked us into two separate villas over 100 yards from each other. To correct the staff worked overnight to find us two rooms next to each other in the same villa. However, it required I move out of my room by 11am and was not able to move into the other room until 10pm. That's almost 12 hours without a room and all of us crammed into one room.
Rooms were not cleaned instead they were just tidied up. The first room we checked into still had a razor and soap in the shower. Daily our room was straightened up but not cleaned. The baby had an accident on the bed, instead of changing the cover they flipped it over. I really tried to give them grace given our stay was only 6 months following a major hurricane.
They charged us full price but only gave us half service. Property is not handicap or elderly friendly, no elevators, long walks to restaurants or rooms, golf carts seem to only run to move luggage of guests checking in/out. Food was subpar, there is a disconnect between concierge and the restaurants, 4 out of 5 days my dinner reservations were wrong. JUST A BAD TIME!! Do not waste your money."
