Hostal San Pancho - Hostel

2.0 star property
San Francisco
6.0 out of 10, (12)
"This is a small hostel on the Main Street of San Francisco (San Pancho). Great front desk staff, very helpful. Very clean and a beautiful communal space. Further from beach than most places but still easily walkable and a great location. Breakfast is fresh fruits and a nutty bread (delicious), tea, coffee and other juicy drinks. We had a room with private bathroom and air con. One negative: Window opens into hall, not outside and our window didn’t have a lock on it... Maybe others...

The Octopus's Garden

2.0 star property
Downtown La Cruz
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (15)
"My 3rd stay in a private room at Octopus Garden. Almost empty and the place seems to be struggling to keep going. The new live music cantina across the street keeps it noisy until 10:30. The men's shower was disgusting- hasn't been cleaned in ages. My bedsheets were stained so i used my travel blanket. After 3 visits, i will look elsewhere next time. "
