"Beautiful room. Beautiful property. Fantastic staff that treated us excellent. Great restaurants until the cartel extended our stay three more nights. And Unico tried to charge me 250% of what I could pay to book it on Expedia. I showed them the rate and they insisted on $1,800 a night. I booked it on Expedia and they accepted the reservation but it was such a slap in the face to shelter in place when every other reservation extended for free. I get they have cost but this was absurd to the point I would never go back. Carlos the concierge was fantastic and really made to stay feel accommodating. So sad that the ownership that you would instruct your staff to act this way in panic and mayhem. Guess you'll enjoy your depleted bookings after the cartel incident and reviews like this."

"The rooms were clean and big enough"

"We enjoyed a beautiful room overlooking the pool with the ocean as a background. It's a very impressive lobby and that impression stays with you and is enhanced everywhere you go. From the incredible Pacific ocean sunsets to the " by reservation" only restaurants to the buffets everything is above standard. We highly recommend and will be back. The one thing we'll do differently is to request a room not overlooking the pool, we're senior citizens and did not appreciate the music and loud activities. Some may love it and the patio doors to the balcony were good quality providing good sound proofing. But if you want to enjoy the balcony it's loud, fortunately by the time it was time to watch the sunset the pool activities had ceased. Beach lounges are plentiful and lots of staff available to fulfill your needs."

"La habitación limpia, grande, un poco mal distribuida pero aceptable, el personal muy amable pero en los restaurantes las porciones exageradamente pequeñas y los nombres de los platillos no corresponden a lo que debería de ser, ejemplo: un filete mignon sin tocino y sin salsa de champiñones, eso era un filete asado, rico y sabroso pero NO ES MIGNON "

"We had the pleasure of staying here at Mio Feb 21-Feb 28. A little excitement the first couple of days with the Cartel and Military. As they say, the people make the place. Well top shelf all around!! Viktor, Francesco, Angelica, Daniel, Karla, Rubi and all were fabulous. A great place to stay, superb value in a really nice area. You will more than enjoy. "Adequate for the price. It was on the beach. Food was good. Staff was not as friendly as some of our other stays. We did the all inclusive and the drinks seemed watered down. But overall good for the price. We’d go there again. We liked the rooftop pool. Felt safe. Beds were small but comfortable. We had problems with the door key working. "
