The pillows were way too soft. I couldn’t get good quality sleep due to the pillows. The AC wasn’t working in the room. I asked the front desk to request a linen change but when we came back nothing was done.

stayed there last week. AVOID this property. After a long day out and about we came back to our room and the door was locked. After contacting the front office, all they did was put us in a random room. WE had no toiletries or any of our stuff. Next morning, we woke up called front desk and they had no idea of our situation and said they will take care of it, and hour past by and had no respond. The girl said she hadn't contacted the maintenance. we were able to get in to our room past 10 am the next day.

Nice hotel with great aesthetics, comfortable beds, and a pleasant ambiance. Went in winter so don’t know about the pool. Bar has good drinks, staff was nice, and walking along the harbor was nice. Not sure about transit to other areas of SD because we stayed around there, but in general our stay was great.

Lousy hotel
The Good: Newer hotel. No issues with the cleanliness of room. Easy check-in and check-out! The Bad: The shower water is not hot. It is eco -friendly and only gets lukewarm. That was quite uncomfortable. The bathroom sink / water smelled like sulfur, so I was concerned even brushing my teeth. The bathroom has close to no privacy. Someone siting on the bed can see your silhouette ….while you shower. The bathroom doors have big vents and barely close. Gym is tiny. Even though the place is new… it still feels like it’s a 200 year old building/basement. The area is not great for walking , or parking. There are about 2-3 liquor stores a few feet away… if that says anything. I spent the night before at intercontinental in downtown…. What a huge difference. If you want to visit San Diego stay closer to mission or pacific beach…. Or go to intercontinental downtown!
