The main problem I have is the service and the staff. I asked for 4 towels (we have 4 in our room) and for some reason they said they're only allowed to give 3 towels per room. That made absolutely made no sense to me. When we asked for our room to be serviced, all they did was folded our used bedsheets nicely, put things nicely aside in our room and that's it. Nothing was really cleaned. I had to unclog the shower drain myself. Maybe they're understaffed? The hotel overall is nice because it's new, but the staff and service really left a sour taste in our mouths. It's got so much potential if they just focus on customer service

I would hardly call this hotel a resort spa. The lobby is aesthetic, the rooms are decently comfortable, but the amenities are disappointing. My girlfriend and I booked this hotel for a couple of nights. We both worked long full days and hoped to come back to relaxing nights. On our first night, we put on our bathing suits and went out to the jacuzzi area (which was just one single outdoor hot tub) only to find out it was out of service. I checked in with the concierge and he explained that it had been out of order for months. If I had known about this prior, I would have booked a different hotel. As this was something my girlfriend and I were really looking forward to. I reached out to their customer service twice after just to express my disappointment, and I received no response. I find it inappropriate to call a hotel with a small outdoor pool and a nonfunctional hot tub a resort spa. I won’t be staying here again, and for the price of the room I’m sure anyone can find somewhere more worthwhile to stay.

I stayed at this hotel on February 22nd before i had to get to very important medical appointments the next morning, as we were leaving in the morning we noticed the door wouldn’t open and the lock had jammed. We were stuck in the hotel room for 1 HOUR with the employees telling us just to turn the knob and acting like i was an idiot and didn’t know how to turn it and they weren’t listening to me telling them it was jammed. 1 hour and a panic attack later they finally got a locksmith to open the door in less than 2 minutes. Would never recommend this place to anyone unless they want a free escape room. Couldn’t even say the staff handled the situation well as they treated me like an idiot who couldn’t open the door. Also when we first got to the hotel we were talking about how nice the hotel was and the girl checking us in said “it’s ok, I’ve been to better” which isn’t what you want to hear when checking in somewhere.

The property itself is fantastic. I love staying here when we visit San Diego. However, for this particular trip, we came because the website it states that the Legacy International Center was open and even gave a weekly schedule, so we planned a trip to visit the Center; however, upon arrival, we were told that the Legacy International Center is closed. The only explanation given was that the hotel has nothing to do with that piece. But if you google Legacy Hotel, the International Center does pop up, gives you hours of operation, etc. This was a very disappointing trip.
